Greetings from Texas!

This vehicle is where we're living for two weeks. So far we've visited the Luray Caverns and Graceland. Elvis says hi. Right now we are in a canyon in Texas. To the right in the picture below, you can see the means by which I am currently communicating with you. Yay technology! We just got back from horseback riding. Our thighs are sore. [info]biissedandgone says the soreness reminds her of something...

Above the driver's seat is where Pie and I sleep. That's our treehouse. You can't really tell from this picture, but it's possible to lay up there and look straight up out the upper windshield. The coolest thing ever was driving down the highway through this huge storm and staring straight up into the sky watching the lightning crack over our heads.

nice little rv! my family went from camper-tops (the little house that sat in the bed of the truck) straight to trailers, but in the old camper my favorite spot was above the truck cab. and since it was attached to the truck cab by the little window thing it was legal for me to hang up there and watch where we were going without having to hang with the parents...

so i totally understand you guys attachment to that space!

hehehe yeah, the satellite is our internet connection. there's a bit of latency, but dad needed to do payroll while we were away, and mapquest is helpful for plotting courses. for such a (purposely) loosly planned trip, we did a really good job of ending up at Grand Canyon at exactly our halfway point timewise.

Sounds nice. I haven't been horseback riding in forever. Hehe...when I drove across the country with my family, we went in a freaking minivan.
